Waffle is in charge of the database content. You can email him at: database@diecastmodelaircraft.com if you have any questions/concerns regarding the content in database, new models, etc.

        1. Smileys: The site i use most often for smileys has this posted on their website; usage request
There are no limits on what you can link to at www.FreeSmileys.org whether you use them on MySpace, your own website, an internet forum or even a blog or email. We welcome any and all use of the smileys on this site and hope you enjoy using them as much as we have enjoyed finding them and adding them to this site. There is no charge whatsoever to use this site, it is totally free. The only thing we ask is that you preserve the links back to us in either the forum code or the html code as this helps us grow and helps others find this site.
Lastly, please do not link to lots of smileys on one page, they may appear on your page but your visitors are actually downloading them from FreeSmileys.org, sites generating tens or even hundreds of thousands of downloads per month cause a great deal of strain for the server and the hosting bills go up, if you run a busy site please host the smileys your visitors love the most on your own site, this will allow us to continue to serve smileys to those that do not have the means to host them.
          Thanks for using us!

Would it be feasible to incorporate them into this forum?
        2. Feedback on this;
        3. Are there options to selecting default text when we leave a comment e.g. select text size, text color in our profile now or in the future?

any answers on these, why no feedback. If given already i couldn't find it.

        • 1. Smileys - right now what we have installed is what we are going to stick with. We like thinks to look consistent and really don't have an interest to install hundreds of smileys that will get little usage. Dancing Fruit is not our thing. If you wish to use on of them in your post go ahead and embed it as an image.
          2. Default text color/font - again turned off to keep things consistent and professional

        • I noticed the drop down box has 36 as an option, but only shows 24 per page. Is 36 sellers per page possible or is the number 36 an extra selection in the drop down box that needs to be removed?

                • Regarding the models available on ebay, it currently seems to use this search:
                  (modelmanufacturer, airline, aircraft) (part #)
I would suggest it also use registration # (so that it either has part # or registration # AND the airline, manufacturer, etc) such as:
(modelmanufacturer, airline, aircraft) (part #, registration #)

noted, we will consider this, however that means the search would have to have part or registration so registration should really be in its own ( )

                    • I'm very lucky to have a large collection and am finding it is hard to search my collection (have been loading it in to a long browser page and using the in browser search) but with all the graphics it puts a real strain on my web browser. it would be cool if there was a way to search my collection. in order to utilize the code that's already there, what if with the "got this, want this" links in the search, when you have it already, and you click it again, it asks you if you want to go to that model in your collection, or add a second model to the collection? same thing with want this to ask if you want to go to that entry in wanted (in order to remove it) or to move that model to your collection.
                      Cheers! Bryn

                      • another idea that would be cool is a link to "related models" aka the same (aircraft, airline, scale, maybe manufacturer) model but with a different registration number.

You can turn off the photos and other items in your preferences: http://www.diecastmodelaircraft.com/preferences
This will make your collection load faster. In the future we will add a search for you collection, better sorting, etc.
