Didn't know that. Thanks JAL. I wasn't aware Virgin America was so big. I have a Hawaiian 767-300ERWL (N581HA). I may grab this one since mine doesn't have the antennas that GJ has added to their 767WL. But going back to the Virgin A319, I appreciate the research.

I looked up a couple of their (VX) A319's by tail # on Flight Aware and it appears those get a lot of use on the West Coast, SFO-SAN, SFO-LAS, SFO-SEA, etc.. with the occasional long hop out to PHL...

They only have 10 A319s in their fleet. The remaining 75% or so are all A320.

I like it too JAL it's just my Airport is JFK and I'm not really sure if Virgin America offers flights from JFK to SFO.
I may pickup the Ethiad just because it's a 748. But that's another carrier I'm not sure about.

Already got the United 787, I really needed one and am glad they brought that model back (If they could only bring back the Lufthansa 748 and A380 I'd be golden). But its not a bad release, most of the jets in this release I either have or don't quite need.

Based upon the speculation on another forum, I now believe that plane to be QantasLink VH-QOW in the Taronga Zoo livery.

I really hope #7 is an EMB-190.. I'd like a Jet Blue, a Frontier, or an Aeromexico. But they way it looks now that will be at least one (1) more month's wait.

After waiting so long I'm kind of bummed by these releases actually.. Coming on the heels of the FX MD11 and 767 I thought we might get an MD10.

I guess the Etihad 747 is interesting. I would like to have another 747-8. At around $38 + shipping that comes up against some other models I've been eyeballing, including some older 747 releases which are still available here and there.

*Sigh* I hope they at least put a satcom antenna on the Virgin A319.

It's a better guess than I had.. I am pretty well stumped

Yes, but the way I am reading the clue is not that AS/HZ began int'l service, but began int'l service with the plane type, i.e., the first time they used the D-8 for that purpose. I believe that AS incorporated HZ into AS in 2010 rather than a separate entity, so with the combined fleet, the clue works: Larger than the other Dashes; smaller than the Boeing 737s. Red tail with an animal.

    It's a stretch, I know, but...

I really like your #5.. I'd buy a WAZZU dash-8. Unfort I believe Horizon has operated to Mexico previously... but I could be wrong.

    I think you're dead-on about #7 btw.

I sure hope #3 is a Delta 739.. I missed the first offering.

    1. This gold cargo airplane might be a surprise to some to see its registration number starts with an N.

    2. The Contents May Be Under Pressure but the gogo Dancer will be a Fog Cutter.
    3. This aircraft had its debut with this airline in October 2013. Like most of the other airlines that fly these, people are som...etimes confused that two of the exits that appear to be outside the airplane are nowhere to be found inside.
    4. You can fly on this model internationally to NRT, KIX, LOS and PVG.
    5. These red tailed 74 seat birds are larger than the smaller subtype of this aircraft but smaller than the single type of Boeings this airline operates. In 2010 this airline announced its first international route using these 74 seat birds. Oh, and yes, those are animals on the bottom.
    6. After ordering 45 of these in a September, the first one entered service two years later starting this airlines all tourist class (the name of this service sounded very Hawaiian) service to London.
    7. Guess what? This airplane model is not a Boeing 777-300er or Airbus A380 from a large Middle East airline. It’s also a new mould, a new mould that people have been requesting for a while now. We introduce this mould on an airline for our friends across the pond.
    8. These long haul aircraft were innovators by introducing the first enclosed suite in first class. Now due to them not being very fuel efficient they are seen being used on shorter routes.
