Cheers mate, I must admit that the Phoenix model is a great deal better with the detailing side of things. The landing gear and markings are very well done. This is my first Phoenix model and after seeing this one, the first of many hopefully.

Yeah, Phoenix do a great job with their models. They have slightly large wheels, but apart from that, are bang on! Grab yourself the PHX B777 300 Air NZ! You will love it! Best B777 mould in 1:400 scale.

Mark also said the same, I jumped the gun an purchased the JC version which is still a great model but will look into getting the Phoenix version at some stage too its the little things that count right.

                    Hey Jase,

been a while since I was on the forums (University Homework, need I say more?) and I got an alert e-mail from this thread. Wonderful updates you got here! I myself would like ZK-NBV as I flew that very plane on my first trip to Los Angeles.

What else is on the list for your Air NZ fleet? any incoming purchases?

                    Aaron.

                      Hey mate,

Wondered where you were. Good to hear from ya. Hope uni is going smoothly for you mate. Thats awesome you got to fly on that plane, sadly I never have and more then likely never will fly on an Air New Zealand 747. This picture was taken when I went to Samoa, was taxing to the runway and managed to get this pic... you can only see one but sadly there are two of them, stripped of their titles and koru nearing the end of there time here. A very sad sight indeed.

Im looking at a couple 737s and also the top of my hit list the DC10. Fingers crossed I get it.

Uni's going alright, just a bit of pressure and some procrastination with 1 particular subject (it's shockingly boring, the rest are good though)

I'm glad I got to fly the 747-400's, their interior was almost identical to that of the Ansett 747-400's so I guess I got a good idea of what it was like. It remains to be the only 747 I have flown on to this day. I still have my boarding pass somewhere too.

I haven't purchased an aircraft in a while but will soon from John, Mark and another dealer I have a few Thai's on hold with. Gets a bit expensive after a while lol.

DC-10 would be a nice grab. That is a very rare model, what about the DC-8?

Theres always one subject aye.. I remember that when I was in high school and uni.

DC 8 is also on the list but primarily want that DC10.

My goal in life is to at least fly on a 747, A380 and a 777-300. So far ive only flown on a 737.

Yeha it does get a tad expensive but if work hard then you can play hard... I just work harder and buy model planes
