I have to admit I didn't know where "Mönchengladbach Airport" is, so I googled it and it is apparently Dusseldorf. Thanks for the list! I know there are more US based ones including one near LA and one in Newark. When I find the details I'll try to remember to post them here.

It's formally Düsseldorf-Mönchengladbach, but that designation is about as helpful as Frankfurt-Hahn. Düsseldorf is DUS and among Germany's biggest airports. MGL has currently no scheduled service, just a few biz jets and maintenance.

I might be going to the CDG convention.
There's also the BRUConvention in a school of Zaventem (near the airport of BRU) which will take place in October (exact date not known yet!)

A good idea. You guys are so fortunate to have shows to attend. Here on the southern tip of Africa, we don't even have a dedicted shop for model aircraft.

The only place I have seen models being sold here is in a small toy museum in Simons Town which is a 140Km round trip for me. I have seen models at another location which is even further away. But needless to say, these two shops only have model airplanes as a by-product of what they actually have to show/sell.

The only other time models are shown here (and that is where the BUG bit me big-time, is at Airshows where people have stalls where they showcase their goods/collections.
Unfortunately we haven't had a large airshow here for nearly 4 years due to some stupid political interference.
