Welcome to our recent joiners, hope you enjoy the forum so far and continue to enjoy it for a very long time!!! Only the first few days in, and nearly 30 members already!!! excellent, as I have said before, it will take a while to build up to be a fantastic forum, No, it won't happen overnight, but it will indeed happen!!!!!!! As more and more join, and hopefully some sponsors come on board, this forum should develop quite nicely and be an absolute pleasure to visit, with a wide range of interesting and informative postings, without the senseless sarcasm found on many other forums!!! I am sure all of you have experienced uncalled for smartass replies and sarcasm, or had posts deleted for being critical of certain brands (especially the protected species ones) LOL!!! I think of MAC as one BIG extended family, where we all exchange thoughts, ideas, suggestions and the true collecting spirit of the hobby that brings us all together under the one roof!!
Thanks all for being part of MAC's infancy here, slowly but surely as each day passes, it will grow to be a wonderfully warm and friendly place to visit!
Do not be shy, ask questions, post freely, enjoy being part of the future of a nice forum community!!!

He's been out of contact again and with the forum down we decided the best way to move forward was to try to get the stability of a new forum and start afresh hence MAC, but I've not had any contact from Tony despite my attempts since before Christmas.</div>

I look at this way, Sad to see SAF go, a great forum, heaps of contributions and thousands of photos lost, a wealth of information suddenly vanished, but from the ashes of SAF rose the phoenix (or was it gemini???) anyway, a bold brand new start managed very well by Andy, and with our donations towards the running costs, and regular contrinutions as I have said before, this will be a nice forum for all members to be active in!
Hopefully MAC will offer a wide range of interesting subjects to keep all the members coming back here, time after time!

I know Tony had had a few problems last year but he'd started sending me competition prizes again for review so I thought he might be getting back to normal. Then the forum had some virus problems so maybe he decided things just weren't worth it any more. I know what a hassle running a forum can be, though I doubt there were many problems with SAF. Whatever, hope he can find time to come on here as a contributor rather than a forum owner.

I'm sure that MAC will fill the gap and a big thanks to you for setting it up.

Well I must say Congrats to Jason, for a truly magnificent new logo, It is bloody fantastic, it encompasses the many different interests of the Model Aircraft Community!!!
When I came on line just minutes ago it was a fantastic suprise to see!!!
