      Hello everyone,

A long time without any update in these treads. Have had a very busy fall of last year, so have not been too good at keeping these treads up to date. However, hoping that 2018 will turn out better, I’ll start this year with some new models from last fall.

      From Africa we have:

      1:500

      Air Austral Boeing 777-300ER F-OLRD
      Air Austral Boeing 787-8 F-OLRB
      Air Mauritius Airbus A350-900XWB 3B-NBQ
      Tunisair Boeing 727-200 TS-JHR

F-OLRD is the latest Boeing 777-300ER for Air Austral and delivered in September 2016.
F-OLRB, the second Boeing 787-8 to join the fleet of Air Austral. This aircraft with line number 15 was finally finished in 2016, after a few years in storage at Everett. It was at first destined for All Nippon, as these did not acquire her, she was offered to Lion Air, but this as well as a deal not working out. Finally, she was sold to Air Austral and today operates out of the small island in the Indian Ocean.

3B-NBQ, second Airbus A350-900XWB for Air Mauritius delivered in November 2017 and named “Pieter Both” it now features a 50th-anniversary sticker.

TS-JHR, an old classic Boeing 727-200 of Tunisair, it was built in 1975, delivered to Tunisair in November 1976, and later ended up in Damascus, Syria with registration 9L-LDM.
