The next months and years will be great for spotting at Rio de Janeiro International Airport:

- June 2013: FIFA Confederations Cup (Soccer)
- July 2013: Catholic Youth Journey - visit of pope Francis I
- September 2013: Rock in Rio
- 2014: FIFA World Cup (Soccer)
- 2016: Olympic Games
