    Wow, I've never flown Spirit but the fact they can fit 178 passengers on jets that can accommodate for 150 is pretty uncomfortable. This is one of the reasons I dislike low-cost carriers, they tend to focus more on quantity than quality.

        I'm not surprised by this. Passengers want to get from here to there while paying little, then complain about the conditions/lack of amenities resulting from those low fares.

          The thing I laugh about the most is how companies like Airbus and Boeing release jets that are more fuel efficient to drive down ticket prices, but I feel like whatever money the airlines save on gas they pocket and still charge extra for amenities...
