I'm looking to purchase this model for nephew moving back to the US from Australia. I would prefer diecast. Which company has best mould and best detail?

Which size? 1:400 or 1:200 or ?

oops I see this is in the 1:200 forum. If you want the standard livery and diecast I think you only have the inflight 200 option http://www.diecastmodelaircraft.com/db/model/12394

Don't know if you've purchased this yet however IF has just announced the forthcoming release of VH-OJA the historic and first QANTAS 747-400
