  • My First 380 (and First Witty)

My first 380, a Thai 380 (bought from Waffle), and my first Witty Wings. Like the real plane, this is one big hunk of metal. (I do like the big ones.) The beautiful box is huge, too. The model matches photos of the real thing perfectly. This is also my first Witty Wings model. To me, there is nothing to complain about. First rate. I've read a competitor's complaints about Witty's quality, and the fact they steal other manufacturer's molds. This competitor is an American living in China, and he brags that China is a "TSA-free" zone. China MUST have some consumer or manufacturer advocate government agency he can complain to, right? BAHAHAHA Sludge

Sharp looking A380 superjumbo! Thumbs up to Witty for rolling out the THAI A380, very attractive livery. Yep, I've come across that American you mentioned above; he's a very colorful character. Congrats on your 1st A380 with more to come! Thank you for sharing your first A380 bird on the DIMA!

"TSA-free" zone is byond the obsurd for him to say since whatever China has far uglier than TSA. His rants about stealing molds & quality issues can very much be the truth as corporate espionage is common in all industries to the point that even countries allot people to steal from corporations. China "corporate" spies infiltrate foreign companies specifically to steal everything in reach.

A380 is one of my favorite airframes! I used to have 20+ of them 1/400
