  • Aeroclassics GSE: Northeast Airlines Yellowbird

~~Aeroclassics have released some excellent ground service equipment usually rather surreptitiously as part of twinsets. I've recently been lucky enough to come into quite a few sets and I thought I'd do a few threads to show off just how nice it is and to catalogue what is available.
Andrew obviously loves the Northeast and the Yellowbird in particular (as this month's releases show) so it is no surprise to see GSE for this colourful scheme too. This set came with the CV880/CV990 twin-set which is id 10508/509 in the database.

It is one of the bigger sets with 9 pieces:
    Semi-fuel tanker truck
Food Truck (with raisable trailer unit)
    Mobile Airstairs
    Van
    Static Airstairs
    Belt Loader
    Baggage Truck
    Generator
    Sanitation Truck
This is only one of three sets with the mobile airstairs and two with the lovely little sanitation truck.

Here is the GSE in action with two of the Yellowbird eras big Convair jets:

That's it for today but there's more to come with GSE sets for National, TWA, Braniff, Cathay Pacific & Iran Air.
