Do GJ and JC Wings use the same A380 Mould in 1/400?

There really needs to be cross reference database for this kind of thing.

    Many thanks in advance.

Someone asked the same question on DAC and was told they do. I don't collect A380s so can't really confirm it though.

That was me.. hahaha.. I'm the same on both forums, i.e., "JAL1628".

I don't know whether to believe the guy who said that (re: the A380s) or not, it seemed like a glib answer to me. Of course that other forum is known for being terse and discouraging at times - like most forums I've ever been a part of.

Seriously though, if anyone knows for fact at least shoot me a PM!

A380's, 777's, and most of the 747's that I see from JC wings are identical to GJ's. including the fact that some Gemini 777's have been coming out with rolling landing gears which look exactly like JC's 777's with rolling gears. And the fact that a few weeks ago I had mentioned that GJ was working with JC wings on the ANZ 787-9 that was recently released by GJ...

Thank you both gentlemen (and Waffle). I know GJ and Phoenix occasionally share molds too (767W, 787-8, 748-8).

I agree my JC and GJ 747-400s look identical. I don't own any JC 777s or A380s.. mostly because I wasn't sure if having two different brands would make one of them look 'wrong'. I readily admit the models are not all perfect, but I like to keep the imperfections consistent. I guess that is my own neurotic take on the hobby.

I'll say again, there really needs to be a cross-reference database for this kind of thing.
