  • Herpa Toy Fair News

Herpa invited collectors to a special event in their offices / museum to present news that were also presented at the Nuremberg Toy Fair, which is only accessible to retailers, the press, etc.

Presentation by product manager Stephan Külgen.

Boeing 737-700 prototype with split scimitar winglets. Well done in my opinion. The Alaska "Islands" 737-800 will be the first model with them.

In other news, the RJ 787 will be produced to match JY-BAC, ie. with black/red engines. The Pluna CR9 will indeed be produced in purple; the first sample isn't representative. Herpa are working on 1:200 scale container loaders and new 1:500 modular airport foils and buildings.

Deliveries of the delayed A320 family models should resume in March. Herpa were able to get their tools back and added improved others.

Very interesting, I'm curious about the first scimitar release, any idea about the airline?

The Alaska Airlines "Islands" 738 was first announced without them, but will be produced with them.
