If the W900 database will disappear....

I saw that on W900 and DAC the administrator is inviting all the members to copy here on DIMA their collections. Now the point is: if the W900 database will disappear is DIMA ready to replace the service?
Who will continue to post on W900 with the collection in another site?
I'm sure this site could find a true "new life" if this will happen, any idea???

well lollomz since masmedia took over everything has gone downhill. sadly. owners don't care about the forum, only revenue it creates. one day the DB will probably disappear for good. so this is a very good alternative. some people don't like here because waffle owns it. but he does not run it. his admin team does. so collectors have a choice!

We've already been providing this service for over 2 years now. With the current state of Wings900 and DAC, we are seeing an uptick in user registrations. The server has more than enough power to handle the users that come over. We hope that many people will come here and post; our software is recent and kept up to date. While different, we think you'll get used to it.

Well, if the system will work correctly than of course many Wings900 members will come here.
Many of those who are mostly using Wings900 as database only. They are not much visible on forum, but they use database to maintain their own collections in good order.
If I may give some suggestions, due to enormous number of custom models made by few 1:500 collectors, specially those like: Tex Models Customs (which is
actually small run enterprise in my opinion very similar to JC Wings or Aero500 i 1:500 scale), CB-Customs, 5Customs, Anglo Customs and few others; it will be a great step ahead to have the opportunity to add those models to our collections.
Custom makers are keeping records of made models, some of them in really big quantities, and may deliver all necessary informations to database. Production run could be marked as "limited" while even Herpa do not inform anymore about quantities of each release.
