I've seen so many 1/500 collectors on the database, and decided to start a thread for sharing our collections with each other.

    Here's my small collection:

I started to collect 15yrs ago 1/500 together with 1/400, however only HERPA is leftover... most of my 1/500 are still boxed and soon will decide to put them up for sal, i will keep only some spx that fit in my reduced criteria

I also prefer to keep them in their boxes, but I do take a peek now and then. They always cheer me up.

I started to collect 1/500 after a destruction of An-225. At the time I considered both options: 1/400 and 1/500.

The reason why I chose 500 is that there was/is no An-22 in 400 scale and I wanted a fleet of An-22, 124, 225 in current livery.

Despite downtrend, I'm quite satisfied with the scale. There are lots of 'Niche' kinds of plane that doesn't exist, or hard to obtain at 400, like An-22, Tu-114.

Anyways, Nice to see a fellow collector
