Cheers Robert. I've got a BOAC VC10 here somewhere. Unfortunate that the Concorde never saw the livery; I reckon that would look spectacular.

Bring back memories with those competition pics. Nice. Mike, have you done HRD (photo editing)? I playing with the program called Photomatix Pro at this moment.

Thanks Taki. I haven't ventured into HDR, I may in the future. The images are brilliant but I'm not sure I have the time to experiment with the technique.
I'm interested to see you posting some photos on this forum.

This Weekend I had bought a Cabinet from Ikea. I spent about 3 hours filling the shelves with my aircraft. I thought there would be no better time to have a model census. I proud to say all 114 models are accounted for.

Also I'm expecting these models won't escape the dust so do you guys have any tips on keeping them clean?

While I was filling the shelves I looked up and saw a perspective of these models I've never really seen before.

Wow, very nice Mike!! Love that AZ B777 in there. As for dust, i don't think there is any way around it. Every month i take all my models out and dust! The positive of that, is i can check for defects and it also makes me appreciate them individually.

WOW Mike, awesome display. Must be a great feeling to have all your models secured in a dust free environment. Have the feeling this is the first of many cabinets??? hehe.

Quite the collection there. You need more than one cabinet by the looks of it.

Thanks John. How long would you say it takes you to dust your models?

Thanks Jason. It great to have them all on display for once. As for the cabinets, I already have plans where to put the next one.

Thanks Mark. I really should spread the models out but I wanted certain airlines to fit on a single shelf.

Mike, it takes me around 2-3 hours!! But i take my time, sometimes re arrange them! Then i get my special glass cleaner which is a bit of Metho spirit mixed with water and go to town on the glass!

Yeap, this is it how it will go, shelf to cabinet which will only take up the corner of the room, then the wall before taking over the room itself and spreading out into another room.... im up to to the wall stage

I think Johns at the "room stage spreading into another"

I still remember when I could fit my entire collection one small VCR sized shelf.

I like the views from the bottom, just gives a different perspective and not something I've seen before, kind of like a plane aquarium!
