  • Anssi 1:400 collection

Hi. Here is my collection in two overcrowded Ikea Detolf showcases.

My main goal is to collect all Finnair releases. Only couple of Dragon Wings MD11s are missing. I have also few custom models. Finnair’s are on four shelves.

    I have all released IL-86s

And all released IL-96’s. Phoenix have announced one new now. Maybe I have to buy that too even it is not so good looking.

Hi Anssi... How did you get so many shelves on the Detlof showcases? I have them only with 4 shelves... I bought them from Espoo Ikea

There are totally three custom made Finnair models: MD-83, B757 and A320.
I bought them from ebay. They are ok looking but not brilliant. I don’t know who have done them.
I can take more photos of them when I get home, but that will take few weeks.

Extra shelf brackets are same diameter metal bars as originals. They are welded and painted so they look just like originals. Those are done by my father.
Extra glass shelves are custom made in a local window glass shop and cost more than a Detolf itself.

Your father has done a great job with the metal bars... I have looked at custom displays in Tallinn also and they are very expensive.

I like your Ilyushin collection, especially the Transaero one
