• PCM ANTONOV 225 AND 124

FIRST TWO FOR 2012! PICKED THESE UP FROM A.R.D. PCM RESIN ANTONOV 225 AND 124.
APART FROM NOSE ISSUE ON AN 225, THESE ARE REALLY NICE MODELS. AND FOR JUST OVER
£70. GOOD VALUE! IMO. NOW THE PICS. THESE WERE TAKEN UNDER STRONG OVERHEAD
LIGHTS, SO SOME ARE SLIGHTLY FUZZY/UNCLEAR BECAUSE REFLECTIVE GLARE. ANGLED THE
MODELS BEST I COULD TO TRY AND ELIMINATE MOST OF IT!

Only with the An225 could the An124 be mentioned as a little sister.

<div></div><div>not sure to be honest. but are NOT pacmin. they suddenly surfaced about a year ago, making wood models in b707, viscounts and vanguards. although not actually seen one of those type yet close up. then they announced these in resin. and now they seem to be making more resin than wood. i have ordered 1/100 boac vc 10, and 1/72 boac britannia dc 7. the antonovs above and dc7s, are just £79.95 from a.r.d. less 10% if club member. (£10 per year). vc 10s are £149.95. for the size and detail, they are VERY GOOD, as you can see. a westway vc 10 start at around £289!!! double!! true, finish may be slightly better, but for price, these are excellently value. but there wood models retail at around £170!! you can see a lot of there models at a.r.d. </div>
