Hey guys,

here's an updated thread on all the Qantas models I have. I decided to do like what John did with his "Aussie Model Collection" thread instead of making new ones over and over. So here's the breakdown on what QF models I have in my collection.

    1. Dragon Wings - Airbus A380 - Qantas (1988 - 2007 Colours) - Reg: VH-OQA

    2. Dragon Wings - Boeing 747-438 - Qantas (1988 - 2007 Colours) 75th Anniversary - Reg: VH-OJA

    3. Dragon Wings - Boeing 747-438 - Qantas (Wunala Dreaming) Balarinji Designs - Reg: VH-OJB

    4. Dragon Wings/Flying Colors - Boeing 747-338 - Qantas (Nalanji Dreaming) Balarinji Designs - Reg: VH-EBU

    5. Dragon Wings - Boeing 707-12B - Qantas (Qantas Founders Museum) - Reg: VH-XBA

    6. Dragon Wings - Boeing 707-12B - Qantas (John Travolta) - Reg: N707JT

    7. Gemini Jets - Boeing 747-238B - Qantas (1971 - 1988 Colours) - Reg: VH-EBA

    8. Gemini Jets - Boeing 747SP - Qantas (1971 - 1988 Colours) 1982 Brisbane Commonwealth Games - Reg: VH-EAB

    9. Gemini Jets - Boeing 707-320B/C - Qantas (1971 - 1988 Colours) - Reg: VH-EAG

    10. Aeroclassics - Douglas DC4 - Qantas (1971 - 1988 Colours) - Reg: VH-EDB

...and this is a poster I got as a gift from my visit to the Qantas Flight Simulator Center in Essendon back in 2006. Me and my nephew got to try out the recently acquired (at the time) 737-800 simulator with the HUD's. He got the Wunala poster but unfortunately my sister threw it out during a summer clean out some years ago. *Facepalm*

Hope you enjoy the pics guys.

    Cheers,

    Aaron.

Aaron, you should try grabbing yourself VH-OJC! The original Qantas F1 livery! I think it will compliment your growing Qantas collection.

I shall put it on the search list! I remember my nephew had a 1:500 model of it by Herpa back in the day. It definitely is one of the best Qantas liveries. The second F1 livery can't beat it.

I think Aviationcenter.au have a few still at discounted prices!! Worth checking them out! The second version was just a small decal! Nowhere near as good as the original!

That is one hell of a cool looking 74, i have been waiting patiently on ebay for one at a descent price to go on auction, and my luck arrived this week, won one for $35 from the US ($10 postage) very happy to have won it, should have a lookout for it Aaron def agree with John there. And you need a dash in that collection too the GJ Q400's go for about $25-30.
