This one just landed in my collection:
Hobby Master North American F-86F Sabre
USAF 4th FIW, 334th FIS, #52-4513
Flown by James Jabara
Kimpo AB, Korea July 1953
Item: HA4307, 1:72 Scale
During WWII P-51 pilot James Jabby Jabara scored 1.5 victories, it was during the Korean War flying F-86s that he excelled. On December 13,1950 Jabara arrived in South Korea with the 334th FIS / 4th FIW and by April 22, 1951 had 4 MiG-15 victories. On July 15, 1953 James Jabara downed his 15th MiG-15 and became a triple ace after two tours of duty and flying 163 combat missions. He was the second highest scoring U.S. Korean War pilot after Captain Joseph McConnell with 16 MiG-15 victories.
This is my first Hobby Master Sabre model, I absolutely love it! I use to have Corgi F-86 Model but didn't like it due to the misshapen canopy. HM really nailed the look of this aircraft, and I love this livery. I had seen it perform in-person during the March AFB show, here is a picture of the real aircraft:

Here is some pictures of the model itself:

And here she is next to her best friend: the Hobby Master MiG-15, item: HA2410 (at least on the ground anyway...in the skies is a totally different story)

This aircraft has really sparked my interest lately because a recently released Digital Combat Simulator (DCS): F-86F Sabre. You guys get to fly in the most realistic F-86 module created for the PC. It's very cool and the realism is unmatched. You guys can check out the trailer here:
