Merit Models

Hi, for those who have been collecting for quite awhile, have you ever heard of the brand called Merit? Is it any good? If yes, what brand is a good comparison to their products? thanks.

The only Merit models I've ever heard of were made by a model kit company that was based in the UK in the 50s and 60s. They also made various board games and other toys. I did recently come across a 1/18 Dauntless ready built plastic model. I understand that they are in the US, and also make military vehicles. Hope that helps a little.
