Wow! that's a big model, i would'nt like to be the one that has to clean round it, just think how many 1:400 models in cabinets you could fit in that space.

Actually cleaning something like this is not so bad and it isn't that heavy either.

<DIV>Greetings mjabbasi. Some model that. Anne, (Mrs J-R) would have a fit if I brought home something that size.</DIV>
<DIV>Angle the stand a little and you could have a unique coffee table.</DIV>

Thanks. I got this model as a gift from a retired PIA employee who saw my enthusiasm towards it greater than his and who no longer had the space to display it. It has a number of 2/88 which I figured could possibly mean 2 of 88 models produced. I found another identical model on display in the airlines computer center which is also in excellent condition and is number 3/88.<div></div><div>
</div><div>I also know of 3 such models that were in PIA's UK offices, 2 in NY and 1 in Tokyo. Where the remainder are I have no idea.</div>

WOW very lucky indeed that this is in great condition... ive seen one Air New Zealand 747-200 same size as this and fiberglass but was in a very poor condition. Welcome aboard MAC as well.
