Will post photos soon.
This model is about 33x31in. NO Livery. Was shipped sometime in the 50's to my father from his uncle who was one of the 3 founding members of The Ice Follies.
I still have the crate with: Lockheed Aircraft Corp. Burbank, Calif. Dept.69-20 stencil painted on it.
The bird was used as a nightlight and hung from the ceiling as far back as I can remember.
I've been told anywhere from a value of couple hundred bucks; it's a travel agent display.... to call the Smithsonian.
I felt this would be a good place to post regarding its existence.
Any knowledgeable reply would be appreciated.
PS not too familiar with this type of website so be patient as I learn.
Thanks
