Entered the postal system today on it's way to me... Fingers crossed it makes it.<div></div><div>The postman did manage to get here without damage is a 12 in by 8 in picture of KA474 with 5 veteran's signatures from Bomber Command. I'm delighted with it. </div><div></div><div>No point in taking pictures today, it's been a very grey day with light quaiity not much better than fog. Damn shame as we had 2 F15E's do three circuits around RAF Waddington. They sounded fantastic and were not playing, but the could cover robbed me of any chance of seeing them.</div><div></div><div>I'm hoping someone else photgraphed them.</div><div></div><div>Cheers</div><div></div><div>Ty</div>

I've been hunting this model for ages,in 1/144scalehere she is!<div></div><div></div><div><h2>Gloster Meteor F3 EE 274 616 (South Yorkshire) Squadron,
2nd TAF
Belgium 1945.</h2><h2>The Gloster Meteor was the RAF's first jet fighter and 616 Squadron its
first operational jet fighter squadron. The Meteor was initially used against
the V 1's scoring the first jet victory on the 4th August 1944. In early 1945
the squadron changed to the new Mk 3 Meteors, powered by Roll Royce Derwent
engines, EE 274 was taken on strength on the 12th March 1945 at Moelsbroek in
Belgium where the squadron sought to engage the Me 262 in combat, without
success. At the end of August 1945 this aircraft was transferred to 263 Sqn. at
Manston in Kent, it was finally grounded and used as an instructional airframe
in early 1946.</h2>

Very happy with it, even though it came through Ebay it's in fantastic condition.</div>

Thanks for the kind comments. I'm like a child in a sweetshop and my poor suffering wife is getting a tad worried that I'm regressing <div></div><div>The blog of the builder who made the Mosquito that completes my Guy Gibson set. I now have a 1/144th scale replica of every aeroplane he flew in his RAF career, although in one case not in his markings.</div><div></div><div>http://bowemodels.blogspot.co.uk/201...havilland.html</div><div></div><div>This now sits amongst my Diverse Images models on a base they sent me for it. I'm VERY grateful for that.</div><div></div><div>Ty</div>
