having a lot of problems with database using IE 8, with windows seven. running really slow, and keep getting, not responding message/recover database message. or lomg running script message!. and then slow to load in again. firefox cannot find website. safari did find it, and it works a whole lot quicker!! rest of forum seems ok on Ie8.

Robert can you email me at info@diecastmodelaircraft.com please with some screen shots of your issues. We are not getting any other reports of these issues on Ie8. I'd like to see what these long running script errors are.

the main issuie appears to be the database. page is slow to load in sometimes. and in a pop up at bottom of screen you get. dima, not responding. then to right, a message saying 'recover webpage' '. so you click on that and it tries to re-load. only to sometimes get stuck again. there no 'sreen shots' as such. another one is a message saying page is not responding due to long running script, and windows checks for errors, and sometimes wants to send that report to microsoft.

one other thing. in 'my collection you cannot see your collection until you change the number of items in the box. BUT it does NOT save that change. i have to change every time i go to my collection. maybe an idea to set a default of 30 per page like dac.

also, i am not geting any e-mail notifications. even though they are set to 'ON'

and finally. in my collection, should pics of the model also show on the left??? like when you do a search of the databasde?? mine don't, but they did when i put my very first one in. but it disappeared when i changed currency. thanks.

My collection down loaded fine yesterday. Went back to look at it today. Says 30 models but nothing showing on the right side. No info.

mark. had same problem. have to keep changing 'models per page number' to see them. it does NOT SAVE the number per page you set for some reason. have reported it.

Both of your collections are all set, the IE bug last night with preferences caused your profile not to have any items checked off for display. Fixed now.

Having an issue viewing threads. I can see the home page fine, I can see the sub-topics fine, I can see thread listings fine, but as soon as I try to view a thread, I just get a blank page? Any ideas?

Pardon me, but i'm confused. If you can't see threads how are you posting here?

Yeap done that GMT with automatically detect DST on but still an hour ahead, i'll mess around with it
