I am a retired software programmer. Thank you to those who keep up this data base. I've been there, done that with NASA.

    a) right!
    b) the database software doesn't care who made the mistake
    c) let's say thank you to the people who build such a database system and website and invest a lot of time maintaining the db, with dozens of new models each month to add. Just normal that a mistake happens. I just try to help fixing errors that always can happen.

I think it's simply an input error. Problem is that you usually can't see a trailing blank/space. Database programmers usually cut of leading and trailing spaces with SQL functions like ltrim, rtrim or whatever they're named in the database system in use.

As far as I know, the following models have a belly recess:

    - Airbus A400M #527040
    - Air China 74H #527040
    - Turkish 77W #527330
    - Emirates 77W #518277-002

There may be more, I may be wrong on #3 and #4... what does everyone think about adding this to the notes section of the database?
add the Moskovia SSJ100 http://www.diecastmodelaircraft.com/...7#.VRqIAOHLJ6I to the list

Robert, please read the full story again, including my Edit and Edit 2. The security token does not cause the problem, but the '+' that is used in cases where usually a space would appear. I think the list of airlines does not contain 'UTAir' but 'UTAir ' (with a space behind) and goes as UTAir+ into the URL like 'US Airways' will be 'US+Airways'

How many models are 'hidden' in the db ?
I think there's a problem somewhere in the db. Recently I posted about the Swissair DC-7Cs that couldn't be found by searching for DC-7C, then the Sterling Caravelle that was there but couldn't be found by searching Sterling and also not by searching all Caravelles and not even by searching the registration
    Today I searched for UTAir : http://www.diecastmodelaircraft.com/...?airline=UTAir
The result is one 1:500 TU-134 (Edit : actually 11 with the above link, please read my first Edit below)
But I wondered where are all the others, the JC Wings 767 in 1:400 and two ATR72 in 1:200 and voila, when I search by registration they are there :
    the 767 : http://www.diecastmodelaircraft.com/db/model/69805
    the ATR72s : http://www.diecastmodelaircraft.com/db/model/70361

And there is also a Herpa 1:200 Helicopter : http://www.diecastmodelaircraft.com/db/model/26010
and in all cases the field airline says 'UTAir'. So again, why do I not find UTAir when I search for UTAir (without any other search criteria beside the airline) ?
And after finding already so many cases, I guess there might be many more such cases in the db. Please check this.

Edit : now that interesting! When I click on the first link above, I get a result with 11 models, all of the above mentioned included! But in fact the link was modified by myself before I posted it here, because I cut of the secury token.
But when I select my search criteria and click on 'search' there's always a security token added to the URL and the search looks like this :
    http://www.diecastmodelaircraft.com/...a63ef1ce852ad1
and the I really only get one model! I think the problem is the '+' in 'UTAir+&securitytoken=...' if I remove the plus it's fine.

Edit 2 : Seems the plus has nothing to do with the security token, but appears when I search 'UTAir'. The '+' is there instead of a blank. US Airways appears as 'airline=US+Airways' in the URL. So the solution is to remove a blank behind UTAir and check for other blanks behind Airline names, a/c types and so on, or generally modify the software to trim trailing blanks before searching, e.g. with trim_right() in SQL.

Another question : I submitted a model about one week ago, but it's not in the db yet, also no email telling me if it is accepted or rejected. For my photo submissions I always get an 'accepted' notification after a few days. Do you send notifications for submitted models ? And how long does it take usually ?
