Interesting, thanks. As for the BEA example this one might fit a lot better then :

      • No offense, but i'm not going to go back and try to find what model you are looking for. Give us the model ID that is in question, and the URL to the logo on airlinelogos.net Preferably if you have multiple, please email to info@diecastmodelaircraft.com

          For being a t w a t, I'll consider adding that model sometime in 2017.

          • Waffle,
While you may be annoyed that somebody is frustrated at the lack of response to this thread / updating this wonderfully free database, that sort of response isn't helpful and leads down the road to a unfun forum atmosphere so I'd suggest when you've cooled off to reconsider. You contribute greatly to this hobby, but I feel the need to say something here because I've seen way to many forum posts that are pure in the moment reactions of disagreement/frustration, and if we don't say something when we see something the spark tends to become a fire.

For being the "Airline CEO" I consider your response as being meant as a joke. Otherwise sounds pretty childish and immature for an "Airline CEO".
As you may have read it was not a complaint but I was surprised nothing is happening as I wasnt used to that before and I thought it might take same way as DAC....as not only my post had no Response but also others hadnt.

So YES, I accept your apology for being impolite, no Problem.

I appreciate you comment Bryn. Unfortunately, I'm not going to find it acceptable when a user finds the need to complain on other forums about his model not being updated because he expects things to be done within X amount of time. He could've easily sent myself or Ops Manager a PM or opened a new thread about it. Going around airing dirty laundry because his one model didn't get added isn't fair to myself or any of the other volunteers that put in their own time, energy and money to keep things going only to be thrown under the bus elsewhere. Cheers.

Waffle, I totally get that. I'm not trying to defend anybody or saying responses are reasonable or not. But something written similar to your response to my comment as a response to aforementioned post would help keep DIMA at it's higher level of community. Re: the "dirty laundry" aka the fact that it takes a while to get models in to database isn't really something to hide as it's just a fact of life, and in any case frustrated posts that antogonize probably aren't good for your brand even if it's in response to equivalent. Cheers for being willing to engage in discussion about it. Much appreciated.

It's the nature of the beast. Consumers will likely NEVER have the appropriate level of respect due to entrepreneurs. It's the same world wide & will not change. Even the most beloved enterprises are ridiculed and attacked on a regular basis, so complaining is very common bc it's it's perspective is by the consumers desires.

                • Hi Waffle - can you change this Aeroclassics Convair to be a CV-440 (ID 68244) please. Continental definitely had CV-240s but this wasn't one of them:

                    • (1) a) Shouldn't these be listed as Kulula rather than Comair? They sure are at airfleets.net

                      http://www.diecastmodelaircraft.com/...98ffda597022b5

                      b) http://www.diecastmodelaircraft.com/db/model/25996 has a typo in the notes, should read "Kulula".

                      (2) Herpa #527453 will be released with registration CN-RGE according to WingsWorld issue 1/2015. http://www.diecastmodelaircraft.com/db/model/69917

                      • I just got a new model which isn't in the db:

                        Airline: China Southern

                        Aircraft Registration: B-2733
                        Manufacturer: Apollo

If you add it I'll upload my photos of it in the next few days. Thanks.

Also could you unhide the recent Aeroclassics releases. Cheers.

                          Aircraft Frame:A319-114
