  • Retailer Availability function

There must be some kind of problem with the "Retailer Availability" function because it shows that a model I want is available on diecastmodelaircraft.com but when I click on the link it firstly takes me to another model and second when I search for the model I want on the store it says it doesn't exist. Take a look for example:
    http://www.diecastmodelaircraft.com/db/model/12271
    152

    In Stock!
    Click to Buy!
If you click to buy it takes you here: http://www.diecastairplane.com/store...=BO-75720H-502
which is not the US Airways A319 but some other model..

    Also on this one:
    http://www.diecastmodelaircraft.com/db/model/20517
    1

    One Left!
    Click to Buy!
It takes you here: http://www.diecastairplane.com/store...00F-1-500.html which is not the Swiss A320...

Somebody please fix this or turn it off because it gives us false hope!!!!

    Thanks!

This has been an ongoing issue. I've had the same issue since January. It's not a lot, but some models here or there have been taking me to completely diffirent jets. I've attempted to email the webmaster but I'm not sure myself if they got them.

That means that the owner of diecastmodelaircraft has their inventory marked w/the wrong dima ID#s. You should contact them, we just report what their inventory is; based on the data they give us for each model.

You mean that you somehow query their inventory for id 12271 (us airways A319) and they reply that this id is associated with the America West 757? Because on their website the model says it has dima id #10705 which is the correct for it. http://www.diecastairplane.com/store...ona-1-200.html

yes, i had the same issue w/ Diecastairplane store. I also encountered the same thing, but only w/ them. I too was excited to think i could get a plane on my wishlist, but disappointed. It was obvious that the site didn't match up the info correctly w/ this DB, so basically yeah you have to contact the store to get an answer.

We do our best to keep the DIMA ids correct, but if you catch an error please send me an email and info@dieastairplane.com and I'll get it corrected right away. Thanks.
