The aviation intrawebs has been active these last few days as plans have been confirmed that Eastern Airlines is coming back! That's right Eastern Airlines is making a comeback. Don't get confused though this isn't the airline that had glamorous jets and just as glamorous service in it's hay day, this is a revival with baby steps. As the website states they have begun to speak to leasing companies about leasing a small fleet of Airbus A319's and A320's to start off. Maybe they will grow? Maybe they will flop? only time will tell. All I know is that if Eastern is revived I may consider taking a trip on their jets for the fact I can say I flew Eastern (mind you Eastern hasn't been around for over 20 years and I'm 27). I wish them any luck they need and hope they can literally "take off"

--That is interesting, it's a good ideal to get a brand that people would recognize. Even if they flop, I hope they have a cool livery for a model to come out!

--Their Airbus starter fleet looks like it will have the same livery they used to have. But your right fleet I hope they do have some models come out. Rumor has it they should start operations after summer of this year in Florida. Not sure if it's Miami or what.
