eBay BUYERS beware list; post your exp w/ bad - horrible eBay buyers
I think this is a great idea, but surely you must at least give some examples of why these sellers are bad other than the experience of other people buying models.
I did an search on ebay of these sellers and only "history_store" shows up and this seller has a 99.8% positive feedback and when you check the negative feedback it appears that the seller has either sent a refund or had not heard from the buyers before a negative feedback was left.
I'm glad you did research, but my list of blocked sellers is from another forum that had multiple threads where they stated why they had a bad transaction. Keep in mind this is about bad exp w/ a seller & not whether or not he's rated very bad as those are thrown out off eBay by the company. I searched am747wey & that one came up someone from NZ w/ one rating only. If the others don't show up it likely means they were thrown out or they quit. So in summary, obviously anyone can have a unattended bad exp selling, but the thread is about a bad exp despite the sellers rep because the horrible sellers disappear from eBay.
Don't be shy about naming that user, it could help others. Maybe he is starting out his home business on a wing & a prayer & the very good prices & free shipping is the main way he could stand out?
I don't remember his name.. but he has thousands of feedbacks.. almost all of them are for CDs and DVDs. That's the part I didn't trust so much.. i.e., how can a person in that line of work have access to brand new diecast models? I decided I'd rather use an established retailer than gamble over $1.50.
I did get some good deals on eBay over the Christmas holiday, almost all from private individuals. It bears mentioning I lose most items I bid on. Probably lose out on close to 9/10.
it's all about networking sometimes, he might have found or met someone who could get him the planes. I met someone thru a single eBay sale (that turned into a lot of sales) who met a Daron distributor & he can get any plane for wholesale even if it's just one model at a time. The distributor said he would just add it to one of his purchases & it wouldn't be a problem, but he might have to wait due to frequency of purchases & release of the plane he wanted.
