    The Pan Am Story: The life and death of an aviation giant.

    Not sure if any of you have seen this but it's a very interesting documentary. Its all about Pan Am and how they rose from 6 planes to being the a world icon. It talks about the regulations put in place after WW2 and talks about the deal Pan Am made with Delta which ultimately killed them. Its been well over 20 years since the billboard livery has flown. And it's amazing to think all of the progress Pan Am contributed to the aviation industry. Good watch. Let me know what you think.

    Awesome documentary released soon after the demise of Pan Am in 1991. It details the long history of this pioneering carrier up to, and beyond, its shutdown. .

        It was an American Icon.. just like Coke or Ford. People grew up w/ Pan Am. It was synonymous with flying.

      An interesting video. I had several nice international flights in PanAm in the early 80s. It's a real shame they didn't survive.
