DiMA - July Update - New Features, Statistics and more

New Features

While other forums have struggled for years to fix rudimentary issues, here at DiMA the entire admin team has been dedicated to making some small changes under the hood. We are also planning a major forum upgrade in the next few months that will bring improved pagination on the forum threads and many other new forum features.

So just what have we accomplished?

• Backend Speed Fixes - The server should be even more responsive than before. Page loads are super quick
• Member profiles - Our profiles actually work and now contain users collection details and direct links to their collection/trade/want lists! (see image to the right)
• Registration Added - to other users collection pages
• Model Detail page - "Collectors of this Model" on detail pages now link to the user profile AND the users collection.
• Bugs - Fixed link going to the buyers page from the model detail page, display issue on detail page.

Those "other" forums...

Promises of a new improved databases elswehre continue to be told, the crowd is finally catching on that nothing new is coming. No pun intended, but those databases are for the birds...

Really glad to see the growth.
By the way : "Model Ratings are also on the rice" = rise or rize (depending on English or American spelling). I prefer my models on something more solid than a grain based substance. ;-)

I will say, this forum has improved substantially over the year I've been a member. I log on to this site at least twice a day during work days. I'll admit this is my most visited forum out of any other forums for me. The members are very mature and clean, and the database is solid. Keep up the great work DiMA team!

Yea I would say 2-3 members from the Google+ geminijets community have joined. It's a lot smaller on there I would say. But I always put the word out.
