well guys, saw signs going up in the town centre area stating that the OLYMPIC TORCH will be passing through on wednesday 16th july!!!! saw some signs in neighbouring towns in last few days. not sure what time it will be, but wednesdays i deliver up country a bit. leaving around 9 a.m, and not getting back till around 1 pm ish. <div>plus this weekend just 20 miles away is the GOODWOOD FESTIVAL OF SPEED! i have been to one of them. i went the year before lewis hamilton started in F1. great day out. loads of vintage cars, and F1 cars, and some sprint and rally races. also went on ahelicopter ride with my son for a tour of the whole area! great day out for petrolheads!!![img]smileys/smiley4.gif[/img]</div>

Nice, Robert! I still remember when the Sydney 2000Olympic torch past my area back in the day en route to Sydney! It was a great time, and the whole community came togethercreating a real party atmosphere!

Yeah mate. I remember when that torch came thru Auckland - one of my close friends got the chance to carry it.

won a couple bids 2 sets animals, one set painted 4 horses, 4 cattle, and same unpainted, a local adelaide seller so should have em later in week?Need some sheep, lambs n chickens, just a few of each for diorama, perhaps some goats
trawled ebay, preisser stuff is gold prices, i cant afford there stuff.

Good luck with your boss Andy. Wish you even more luck on finding a place. Today was a holiday Monday for us so Jo-Anne and I went to the airport. Will post photo's later , there should be a few special one's for John. Just have to look and edit them first.

Hi all, shivering away here its currently 6c-43F heading for a top of 14c-58F
At least its dry again today, after the rain we have had over past couple weeks.
Look forward to see the photos later Mark, hope you had a fun day at the airport mate.
Will go to the joinery a bit later in search of stuff for the diorama, wish me luck guys!!!!
Hardware store will also get visit for some cheap timber veneer stripping, as will the dollar shop for some super glue and anything else of potential interest!!!
Hope everyones having a great day, I had trouble getting out of bed, @ 4c, can you blame me!!!

Had a sleep in this morning after my lower back kept me awake part of the night, its 1115 am and 12c (54F) est top 58 F and looks like we had light showers overnight again too.
Yukky cold miserable weather, I hate it!!!!

Just got home from the overnight shift at work. Time to get some sleep , wake up go grocery shopping have lunch maybe pack up some orders then go back to bed for another fun 8pm to 5:30 am shift. Then it is back to regular hours.

bet ya be glad when this is over mate, upsets the old body clock thats for sure
did 2 weeks on Darwun apt of nite shifts, 10pm-6am never again
was different, fun, but would i do again, no thanks
