MAC CHAT:A thread to post anything and everything

HI all, Well here we go again folks!!! Rules are basically simple and user friendly for all concerned, Those familiar with the old SAF BOOK will be familiar with the antics and fun, and all and sundry that goes on with a chit chat thread!!! For new comers unfamiliar, and for those not as familiar with how it works the gist is this:
Politics and religious subjects to be avoided, expletives are NOT acceptable in general, racism and other taunts will not be tolerated, The idea is to just have an over a coffee chat about everyday things, events, celebrations, congratulations and everything else!!!
Please, when posting, be considerate of others and attempt to make your posts worthy of reading, not just continual 3 word sentances!!
This is NOT FACEBOOK, so please make your replies meaningful.
The other most IMPORTANT RULE, is to have FUN!!!
OK everyones up with the rules here, lets go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Having some issues with PC atm, running slow, started playing up yest morn, and tried clearing cookies etc, and major disc clean up, but still having some probs with it!!! bear with me as I try to establish why picts etc take forever to load and so on!!!

I see you as AZ_747 and Alitalia 747, perhaps you can delete one of your accounts, or perhaps Andy can delete one???? Id stick with Alitalia 747, reckon thats the keeper!!! Well at least you are here John, thats the main thing!!! Welcome back mate!!!

Hi Guys,
Well i finally made it one or two comp problems but everything seems ok this morning.
How is everyone? I know i hav'nt been around much, but i've just had a few family setbacks, things are on the up now (I hope) looking forward to a better year and a nice new forum.

Martin, great to see you make a most welcome return on the forums, Yes its been a most taxing year for you and the family, just hope the new year brings better health and happiness for all concerned!!!Hope you can visit us regularly, bearing in mind the family commitments that must really be stretching your resources at timea!!! Just hang in there mate, and hope all improves throughout 2012!!!!
Andy has done a fanbloodytastic job to get this forum on its feet, so its up to all of us to use it and where possible, support Andy with the running and maintenance costs, hopefully some sponsors may also lend some support here too!
Anyway, from the Ashes rose the Phoenix as they say, so here's to a long and happy forum with a growing membership!!!

Morning Steve,
The new year did'nt start too well with Jaynes Mum passing away just after Big Ben had finished ringing in the new year, but hopefully everyone else seems to be in good spirits and looking forward to a better year, hopefully not too many trips to the Hospital.
The new forum is great, just feeling my way around, all we need now are a good set of new releases to talk about.[img]smileys/smiley2.gif[/img]

Oh hell martin, not a good start to 2012 mate, My condolences to all the fanily and friends!
Hopefully thats the last of it for a very long time!!! On a brighter note, I just hope some folk I have invited here will in fact join us here, and we can have fun and enjoyment as we did before the SAF collapse.
I feel sure this forum will appeal to many, so fingers crossed that it does!!!

<div></div><div>Ahh yes I should have explained this:</div><div></div><div>You get points for your actions on the forum:</div><div></div><div>Starting a new thread, posting, answering someones question and getting thanks off people (smiley face button in the top right of every post) gets you a certain amount of points.</div><div></div><div>These points move you up the ranks as such in terms of the star scale, as a Mod steve it doesnt make much difference to you though!</div>

Evening, picked up my Atlas Union Pacific MP15 after several months of waiting, got a copy of Rise of Flight(WW1 combat sim), Australia won! And what an innings from Haydos.

When you get time Alex, you have to pop a picture or 3 on the model train section. Bet she was worth waiting for mate.
I would love some Aussie heavy freight diesels in my collection, along with some freight cars as well, but sadly room, money and Id go nutz if I started!!!! Better for me to admire what others have in their collections.
