• Hi Taki. Great to have you on board. No need to buy anything new just show us your fabulous pictures of what you already have. Going to be even better with a new camera I guess.

I've been lurking and deciding whether I can handle two forums. With the weak useless dollar versus the mighty Yen, my train layout progress has slow down considerably. I can't buy materials! I have started another hobby, a photography. I came to realize how important photos were, when we took our daughter to Disneyland last October and wished I had a better camera (I had point&shoot Sony HX7V). Photos were more important than my trains, so I took out a loan and got me my very first DSLR. I'm looking into obtaining Photoshop CS5 and fast lens later.

................I gotta change my avatar ASAP.
Hi Taki, i bought a camera last year when we started having family illness problems, my idea was to have memories to look back on if anything bad happened.

Exactly. Cannot rewind time. Memories are so important than anything else I come to realized, and I wanted a best (or close to) to capture the moment.

I hope things got better Martin. I haven't keeping up during at SAF.

• Question. Is there a pic size limitation for posting? Will the pics gets re-sized like at SAF? I'm gonna start posting something soon.

• I was just going through the uploading size settings. 500kb is the max atm. It can be changed, but will leave that up to Andy for now.
