So, here is the next shot. This is almost complete prior to putting on my grass along the edges of the runway. The yellow paint I used for my blast pad markings (chevrons) was a different brand and was quite a bit more runny when sprayed on. So, I definitely will probably bust out the model paints for touchup of those lines. I'm also going to add a partial centerline stripe towards the very end past the last full one.

Almost done with this piece. Again, next will be the taxiway piece that will most likely join up with this. I think I'll incorporate the hold-short line. I've got an 8" wide piece that will be used for that.

Does anybody know what to use for lights on the Tarmac? I was wondering about LED's but didn't know how to make holes small enough or how to set up the circuit???

I wonder if fiber optics would be good to use? I'm sure it would be tedious work, but would probably look pretty cool.
