30th January 2018 welcomed William Shakespeare with easyJet A319 G-EZBI on training runs. Jet2 Holidays B737-800 G-DRTB had diverted from Leeds Bradford while Wizzair A320 HA-LYQ operated as normal during a usual 30 minute turnaround.
22nd September 2017 - Based TUI B737-800WL G-TAWF and Flybe E170 G-FBJH positioned on the main apron while Ryanair B737-800WL EI-FRF offered some training activity. Such Ryanair would soon have to make way for the arrival of Qatar Airways Cargo B777-200F A7-BFC as QTR8791.
4th July 2017 offered another chance to catch Atlas Air B747-400F N418MC on arrival with Volga Dnepr An-124 RA-82043 already on the cargo apron. Wizzair A320 HA-LWC also joins the activity on departure.
21st April 2017 - Condor B757-300 D-ABOJ arrived for a spot of training while Aerotranscargo B747-400 departed after a night stop IMG_4393 by thomsonairways737, on Flickr
21st June 2017 - Qatar Emiri Air Force C-17 A7-MAA arrived while Antonov Airlines An-124 UR-82027 stayed positioned all quietly on another visit having only recently arrived previously back in March.
1st March 2017 offered a good day of movements with some colour featuring Atlas Air B747-400F N418MC, Antonov Airlines An-124 UR-82027 and easyJet A319 G-EZIO.
It's been a while since I last updated. General mood has been low and otherwise occupied with other things including the FIFA World Cup. I want to continue this series up until late 2022. After this I wish to look into an Australian periodic scene. Then possibly look at focusing on a modern day concept that is kept up to date alongside real world aviation. With this modern day aspect in mind, I have also been selling quite a few models of the past that I no longer require.

2nd February 2017 - Volga Dnepr An-124 RA-82047 departs after a night stop from the day before. Two contrasting Flybe aircraft, Dash-8 Q400 G-JEDY and Embraer E170 G-FBJH respectively await there next flights with G-JEDY soon on departing also. A little later, People's Liberation Army Air Force - Chinese Air Force A319 B-4090 arrived on a brief special visit.
23rd January 2017 - Wizzair A320 HA-LWR departs while Flybe ERJ-175 G-FBJH and a Silk Way West Airlines B747-8F VQ-BVC remain positioned on stand respectively.
Wrapping up 2016 with a couple of movements back in July. A chartered TAG Aviation B757-200 G-TCSX, on a second visit - this time with TAG Aviation titles alongside a departing easyJet A320 G-EZWJ.
7th July 2016 - A very busy day for the airport to say the least. Here is a run down of the activity featured...

Air Europa B737-800 EC-LQX operating as AEA217/218 from Palma de Mallorca.
Wizzair A320 HA-LWR operating as WZZ2071/2072 to Bucharest.
Wizzair A320 HA-LWC operating as WZZ1615/1616 to Gdansk.
DHL B757-200 G-BMRJ arrived to position in from Leipzig as DHK16Q.
easyJet A319 G-EJAR with some training as EZY9090, occasionally holding in the pattern to allow for scheduled flights to operate. This would offically depart the next day.
Atlas Air B747-8F N852GT operating as Polar 237 from Hong Kong.
Saudia Cargo B747-8F HZ-AI4 departs as SVA935 back out to Riyadh.
26th May 2016 - Summer time with a chartered A320 and Air Europa B737-800 EC-JHK in SkyTeam colours. Royal Air Force A400M ZM401 also made a quick training appearance.
27th April 2016 - Royal Air Force A330MRTT ZZ333 arrived for a few training circuits. A rather blank B747-400F for AeroTransCargo was positioned on the cargo apron while easyJet A320 G-EZOL arrived with the company of the regular Wizzair A320 HA-LWR.
