29th December 2015 - A mix of B747s and B757s. Air Hong Kong B747-400F B-HUR and Atlas Air B747-400F N418MC on the cargo apron while beyond the passenger terminal Four Season (TAG Aviation) B757-200 G-TCSX arrives with Thomson Airways B757-200 G-OOBE pushing back with added festive titles.
12th November 2015 - Thomson Airways B767-300 G-OBYF operating a Winter Cruise Charter while easyJet A320 G-EZTT arrived. However the main attraction once again for the third time was Antonov Airlines An-225 UR-82060 Mriya, this time caught departing out to Leipzig with onward journey bound for Baku, Azerbaijan.
1st September is always a special day as my birthday. 2015 was made to be even more special with the rare training arrival of La Compagnie B757-200 F-HCIE. Thomas Cook A321 G-TCDG also featured operating a Summer charter to Palma de Mallorca.
Later that same day Royal Air Force C-17 ZZ171 also made an appearance.
A very productive afternoon of spotting on the 29th May 2015. A change in base aircraft with Thomson Airways B737-800 G-FDZE fitted with split scimitar winglets soon accompanied by Thomson Airways B757-200 G-OOBE.
The all too common Flybe DHC.8.Q400 G-JECK arrived too, though the attraction of this prop aircraft was soon overpowered by the arrival of Antonov Airlines An-124 UR-82008. Then a little extra splash of colour welcomed easyJet's A319 G-EZIW in Linate - Fiumicino Per Tutti colours.
21st June 2015 - Airbus central day. Wizzair A320's HA-LYQ and HA-LWR positioned on stand with the training movement of Royal Air Force Airbus KC2 Voyager (A330-243MRTT) ZZ332 taxiing past before easyJet Switzerland A320 HB-JZR joined the party.
Sometime in early 2014 welcomed DHL B767-300F G-DHLG sporting a special sticker associated with the delivery of Hao Hao and Xing Hui, two Panda's, who would stay at the Pairi Daiza Animal Park, Brussels. This arrived on onward bound flight after the successful delivery.
25th November 2014 - Thomson Airways B737-800 G-TAWL and Wizzair A320 HA-LWR featured once again with two widebody movements. Thomson Airways B787-8 G-TUIE arrived as well a rather Blank looking B747-400F for Air Cargo Global.
16th November 2014 welcomed the second visit of Antonov Airlines An-225 Mriya UR-82060 seen positioned quietly while a couple of other movements operate including the based Thomson Airways B737-800 G-TAWL, easyJet A320 G-EZUI and a diverted Jet2 B757-200 G-LSAA.
21st August 2013 offered the chance to catch a Qatar Amiri Flight A340-300 A7-AAH stationary on the cargo apron. Whilst there, with unknown movement times of the A340, the opportunity came to catch a Thomson Airways B787-8 G-TUIB and Thomson Airways B737-800 G-TAWL.
15th July 2013 welcomed a significant rare arrival with an Abu Dhabi Presidential Flight B777-300ER A6-SIL amongst a couple of the regular low cost movements Ryanair B737-800 EI-EVI and Wizzair Ukraine A320 UR-WUC.
Thomson Airways B737-800 G-TAWL remained positioned still while Volotea B717-200 EC-LQS arrived operating a Summer charter.
A busy week commenced by the return arrival of Antonov Design Bureau An-124 UR-82027 as ADB2686 on the 14th March 2013 which would stay for an additonal 3 days until the 18th as ADB286F.
The following day on the 16th March offered some regular visitors to accompany the An-124, featuring Thomson Airways B737-800 G-TAWL and Aer Lingus A319 EI-EPR.
