JFK / spotting

As many of you know I am an LAX guy by birth and have enjoyed some good spotting there over the years. However, I recently spent some time at JFK and I think New York has LA beat...

Some of the really cool airplanes I saw include:

I also saw a Kalitta 747 Classic, and a boatload of slow climbing Delta MD88s leaving smoky trails behind them... plus several of the new winglet equipped JetBlue Airbus...

Been to both and they both rock. LAX has TN, FJ, VA, NZ, and WN and AS and their colorful special schemes, for example. I think one tends to under-appreciate what one has all the time (FRA for me)...
