why in the world would Geminijets do an off release of the Alaskan 737-900 and why in the world is a 1:400 scale narrowbody 60 dollars?!

They probably just found a box of AS 739's somewhere at a hobby shop.. Or at Disneyland for all I know.

I've found a couple great models cheap at hobby shops that specialize in plastic kits, armor, d&d, and other stuff.. i.e., diecast was not their core competency. They didn't know how to market them and they weren't successful in selling them.. so they languished in a box. Until I showed up.

It never hurts to ask!

They are so much because the demand is so HIGH; capitalism! I just saw they sold out already!!! FUNNY that for an additional $15 you can get the 1/200 version (usually) on eBay although i've seen the 1/200 listed, but NOT sell & higher prices.
