This is certainly very interesting news indeed.
I wonder if it will be tampo printed or decalled like SM200 models?

Looking forward to some good releases.

"~~release a few exclusive 1:200 scale models through Inflight 200"

when you say through inflight, does that mean they will use inflights molds or their own molds but inflight will sell them?

Retro Models will be using Inflight 200 moulds, hopefully their own molds soon there after using the same principal of solid die-cast metal mould injection. The two models in particular are "commissioned" by Inflight 200 ... in other words, Inflight 200 asked Retro Models to produce them and Retro Models took up the offer...at least knowing that they will be up to IF2 standards using IF2 moulds. Retro Models will also be producing 1:400 scale models under their own moniker, as well as a few commissioned by other brands. They just opened their webpage recently ( http://www.retromodels.net/home.html ) and have yet to set up standing agreements with Retailers and Distributor.

This is a company that is for now using Inflight200 molds, and in the future, possibly their own molds in conjunction with another manufacturer currently producing models. Just another miserable failure by the IF200 marketing IMO. We'll see how long they last especially being based in the UK and at IF200 quality and prices.

Hopefully they won't screw up IF2's DC-9-30 mold, I really would like to get my hands on the Alitalia DC-9-32 that Retro is suppose to produce. If your store carries it, I'll buy it so long as the quality is at par with IF2's standards. Retro is also suppose to produce 1:400 Scale Model Aircraft just as Inflight did not too long ago. Just hope they don't fail as quickly as Inflight 400 did in that endeavor. There were a couple of IF4's offered up for pre-order that I wanted, only they never came to fruition. Better pissed off than pissed on I say. As usual, I find nearly 80% of the models I'm looking for at your store. Thank you for a fantastic place to shop.

The only one that interests me is the CO DC-9. I would like to see some real pictures first, however.

The following link should take you to the Inflight 200 "Future Releases" page on their website, you will find a picture of both DC-9-32's - Continental and Alitalia. I for one want the Alitalia DC-9-32 for my collection ( http://www.inflight200-models.com/upcoming.php ).
