  • IF200 American Airlines DC-10...Pics!

Good afternoon, gentlemen, just joined Dima.
Ive been collecting models for the past 15 years, large scale SpaceModels are my favorite, but also Pacmin, Topping...
And of course, 1:200! From the days of the first British Empire Flying Boats to the latest 787, I love them all!
I buy any model that looks good, from Phoenix to JC, but wont hide that I have a soft spot for IFs 747s and the latest mould, 777-300ER.
I like to look at a model and recognize what I am looking at, so the nose area is of paramount importance to me. Also landing gears, yes, I like to see detailed and sturdy landing gears, either with magnets or fixed.
I dont have a cabinet to show my models, so I just give my best photographing them, and off they go back into their boxes.
This is my contribution to Dima, im just a guy who loves models and shares them with others....
I hope you like my photos, and that they may help you guys decide.
Lets start with my lovely AA DC-10-10 by Inflight200.
Groovy box design too, very...80's?! Inflight has been releasing these lately with their models.
    Enjoy!

Somebody may find some way to fault this but I wouldn't care. What a magnificent looking model.

I'm definitely not a fan of the metallic livery
But your pictures are so good I'm getting the urge to buy the Seattle Model Aircraft Company (SMA) new mold version

I'm wondering why?? As 1:200 DC10's go this is one of the best I've seen. I flew on one in 1974 from Buffalo to LA and it looked almost as shiny as this one. When they came out of the factory they were incredibly shiny. I'm not a fan of chromed models but this one passes my tests and I'd like to see the prototype L1011 done the same way.
