      • Ok, another aussie model touched down today! This model is the 1:400 scale TAA (Camel Hump livery) DC-9-30! The reg of the model is VH-TJR!

                • I think it has to do with the blue letters AA sticking over the orange cheatline. hence the humps.

                  • Nice addition John - I know the feeling when missing model releases. I remember when the Air New Zealand 767 with winglets was released and thought to myself that id get it next time..... now its one of the hardest models to find... lesson learnt... never again haha.

                          • They mucked up the colour of the teal. It looks more turquoise and is particularly noticeable on the Pacific Wave. Not so noticeable on the tail &amp; winglets which are dark blue/lighter blue instead of dark blue/teal. To be fair, in some lighting conditions the 1:1 sometimes looks similar. Oh and it has the somewhat oversized nosegear of the early Phoenix 763 releases.
                            I should get off my rear and take some photos of mine next to my AC ANZ A320 &amp; B732C so you can see the colour difference.
                            Still, it is the only game in town and like the futz-up Aeroclassics always pulls off with Red Delta, we just have to live with it. [img]smileys/smiley5.gif[/img]
