  • Thanks for all the comments gents! Where does the name Camel hump livery come from? Well if you look at the first TAA photo on this page, you will see that the T looks like a head and the AA are two humps! Yes, us aussies have a very creative imagination! I guess the formal name for it would be the TAA 80's livery! Boring i know!
<DIV>I feel sorry for you Air NZ collectors! It seems that every ZK model released, is plagued with colour issues! Jase, i do hope you get your model mate. </DIV>

<DIV>Haha, awesome! Did you get them off poppy? I am going to bid for the Ansett Airways version now! Should have done it the first time, but i did not know if the seller was good or not, so you could say i was testing the waters! But now that i know that he is great to deal with, i am going back in for some fun. </DIV>

yup of poppy. Got both for a total of $41.. ridicolously cheap. I might grab the Ansett Freight L188 too, to complete the Ansett L188 collection.

Cheers John, after reading the feedback not so sure now on getting it but its the only one of its kind released. Hopefully another manufacturer will release another one which is more accurate.

<DIV>You know what i would do Jase? Search for the model, ifyou find it, purchase it! If a more accurate version is produced down the track, then you can sell this one. </DIV>

No problem. I prefer the colours they used on this one in comparison to the Dragon Wings model.

Dragon Wings has made a plain version of VH-ANA. Comes in a "Cargo" twin-pack with an Air NZ 747.
