• Those JC Electras looks sweet in that huge fleet you've got there John!
Hopefully my white tail will arrive soon. (I've already got the orange tail by Aeroclassics.)
Now all we need to round off the Aussie Electras is the TAA silver tail delivery scheme, the Ansett-ANA double-bar 1960s scheme and the Ansett Red Delta passenger scheme... JC are you listening??

• Yes and yes for the Electras!!!! deffo priority is twin stripe Ansett, and cursive TAA, red delta pax would have been short lived scheme i think, maybe a year if that??? not sure to be honest.

• Looking at AussieAirliners.net, RMC was the first to be painted in Red Delta, late in 1969. Pax flights were operated until mid 1971 when the three aircraft were slated for conversion to freighters. The last photos in the pax scheme seem to be from late 1971. So two years perhaps? About the same time as the Ansett-ANA single-bar scheme?
I'd like a Red Delta pax if only for the fact that JC gets the Ansett flame orange/red colour right, unlike someone we know...

• Not wishing to throw a spanner in the works but I'm not sure if that blue stripe is quite the right shade. Looks much to dark to me. And another thing, shouldn't engine No2 have left-handed props??<div></div><div>Apart from that, a very nice model John. Just hope you can live with those HUGE errors </div><div></div><div>(this should bring AK out of the woodwork)</div>

• Id say the blue is pretty close to the real thing, looks good to me off photos so far, see how i feel when the model arrives i guess
judge it then.

• Just realised I hadn't compensated for the dreary Aussie winter light. Blue is fine, just threw out a hook to see if I got a bite.<div></div><div>Seriously on a prop matter. Should the props be pitched left and right on different sides of a plane to stop them drifting sideways. When I was making some spinners for my custom models I was careful to make sure pitch was correct.</div><div>Certainly twin screw ships have their props pitched left and right.</div><div></div><div>N.B. On a 1/400 it aint going to make a difference, so no big deal.</div>
