In regards to the props, Steve you are correct, they both spin in one direction. And Mike i think i know what your getting at, its the 'slipstream' produced by a propeller having an effect on the rudder. The forced air behind a propeller that turns like a corkscrew hits the rudder causing the aircraft to yaw left. This is only an issue on single prop aircraft with the prop in front of the centreline of the aircraft. On a twin prop aircraft, this is not an issue, and hence both piston and turboprop engines always turn in one direction together, be either anticlockwise or clockwise. Therefore the propeller blades position at startup - feather - will be the same for both props, and by the looks of it, the models are correct in terms of propeller position. Here is a video of an F-27 startup with both props turning clockwise from the front:
