DB page jump is implemented on the Advanced Search: http://www.diecastmodelaircraft.com/db/advanced

Try it out there and tell me what you think.

If it looks good, i'll add it to the main search page.

Such a shame that a lot of historical MAC inputs are not readily accessible. Some interesting topics, posts and threads are well worth a read.

As pointed out many times, no posts have been lost. The pagination error is causing them to appear that they are lost. We are awaiting VB v5.01 which, according to VB will fix this error.

To prove my point, in a thread that seems cut short, click the "latest activity" tab, and you'll see all the posts.

Item #1: Quick search vs adv search. I entered the info in quick search, but wanted more pages to show other than the 10 by default. I switch to adv search & have to enter all the info again to get my search done!

What possible solutions are there? Are these foreseeable?
                • perhaps a personal preference to show x number of pages when a person uses the DB
                • have info not get cleared when switching between the two searches
                • have only one search where all the fields are available

Item#2: When choosing an aircraft in the drop down box you can type "A380" & it will take you to that airframe. When you type "B 747" you have to type the letter b space bar then 747. Is it feasible/ practical to change it so you don't have to hit the space bar in "B 747" or any others that have the issue w/ having to hit the space bar?

BTW i happy to have the drop down box to select a page in the DB.

Great idea, and we've already coded that. Now try a search and click between Quick and Advanced - it will remember what you searched for.

1 - potentially we can do this; we need a bit more coding to set this up; but we can put it on the to-do list
2 - this was easy and is now setup
3 - Please explain more, i'm not sure what you are asking for

Where are you typing the aircraft? All of the aircraft fields are drop downs and don't require typing.

Glad you like the page drop down!

Does it mean the owner of this website owns copyright of every model picture in the database, by having a logo of Waffle Collectible at the bottom of every model picture, and showing " Photo from Waffle Collectibles LLC" while one clicks on the " i" icon to the top left of every model picture?
