Hi all, a pretty damp old day outside, had a fair bit of rain over night, totally different weekend to last weeks scorcher, back to wearing a pullover again. Have sent out some more invitations to join here, hopefully a few more will rejoin us and get this forum really cranking again soon. Folks here please encourage others to join, a few of us have made the effort, but a combined effort of many members here to contact previous members that joined SAF, see if you can get them to rejoin here if possible!!
Theory is the more that join here, the bigger and better the forum becomes. Please help if you can!!!

Hey Steve talked to a few of my customers and they said they would take a look and possibly join. We also need those who join to participate. We do not want junk posts but posts that have quality.

Hopefully we achieve both here, good members and good posts, would be great to have both!!!
what is sad to see is a forum that say has 4000 members, looks impressive, UNTIL you look at how many joined years ago, with a post total, usually 0 or one, and activity shows join activity-day of joining, and maybe 1 post after that, then NIL activity after that.
So in likely reality, only 1500-2000 active members, many lurk but do not post much, if at all???
so i would guess probably less than a thousand would be what I would call active members, and even less than that whom contribute in any way whatsoever!!! Are people shy? scared to post? who knows?
Lets hope members here try to contribute regularly and feel like part of the family here!!! We can only live in hope!!!!!!!

Morning Guys, not a bad morning here, wind seems to have calmed a bit and at least it's dry. Got to start clearing Mother -in-law's flat today, housing company gave us 5 days to empty it, or we will have to pay another months rent, no heart some people. How is everyone else ? whats happening around the world?

Sadly Martin, the housing people simply don't care about people thesedays, it's all about money, revenue, emotions etc they do not care about!
I imagine you have to take some time off work to enable this cleaning to happen? Damn heartless bastards, but wherever you go now its the same!!!
well i hope all goes well and quickly mate. Hope you can get a few helpers to assist you with the cleaning, and I imagine furniture and personal effects all have to be sorted out too, most depressing indeed, still has to be done unfortunately!
Wishing you all the best with it mate!

Unfortunatly compassion can be hard to find with companies sometimes, I see I've reached a nice achievement today my feedback on ebay has reached 1234 and still at 100% positive which is something nice to wake up too, hope everyone has a good day.

We won last night, so i guess he is off to a good start lol. We have Harry Kewell playing well for us now, so that is also good. Hey, i saw Tim Howards goal!! What a laugh!

Yeah it was a complete freak goal and we went on too lose so that wasn't great, managed to watch us win in the cup yesterday though so that was good, Was sat two rows infront of Tim Cahill! Harry Kewell must have been a bit of a coup to say the least, so thats good. Can see Tim Cahill coming back to Australia in the next couple of years, he's not scored for us for over a year which is isn't great it has to be said.
