    • Ok, lets clear a few things up here. All you need to do is send Terry an email at CAMau, and he will respond to you within 24 hours. It cost zero, and you will get a yes or no.

<DIV>As for the website it is just not possible atm. why? CAMau is a showroom/store which is open 6 days a week with standard trading hours. Terry gets bombed with emails and phone orders all day long, on top he needs to deal with customers who walk in (like me) lol. Trying to run a fully functoning and well maintained website as well as the showroom is just not possible.</DIV>
<DIV>They are well aware of the poor webpage, put have their hands tied atm. </DIV>

          • Howdy all, pleasant night after a great day here in Adel. 29c I think, not bad at all.
John, the !st Ansett 767 was am awesome sight, they did a low flyby then did a lowish orbit over the city followed by a landing, media were out in force filming its arrival. I have the shots here somewhere that i took on the day.
Was bored earlier so trawled through the last page of EBAY listings of 1/87 models, just on one site 9000 listings! no wonder my eyes are sore!!!, took a few goes to see whats around, some old and some new
            On watch, 4 pages worth
not that im gonna buy all of em, just ones of interest for later on.
Ford Capri (70's) was one i liked, couple Ford Taunus-sim to aussie cortina from late 70's, couple trucks.
Deffo get a couple of cars n trucks later on. detail on them is pretty good i think.

              • Yeah its fun to have a side hobby next to the main hobby
In my case planes take up a majority of my interest, trucks n stuff the rest

Now what makes truck etc more interesting is you can chop and change as you want, this is where the fun starts, a plane you just unbox and show, where trucks can have various loads, trailers, dioramas and so on, thousands of various combinations i can create with a lot of creativty
Heck im having fun, detailing, weathering and so on. Adds a new dimension to me as far as collecting and creativity goes

                        • Well work continues to be a soap opera. The situation is getting worse than better. Yesterday one manager was put in a PIP (Performance Improvement Plan). They have 30 days to improve will never happen. So last night there had been a switch with a manager. This meant the manager who was floor coverage was now the only manager in the store so bottom line no floor coverage on the other side of the floor which meant there was no back up coverage for cash or anyone to cover breaks. Plus it was busy. Today with another management switch there is no coverage on my side of the floor from 5pm to 6pm. I will be waiting for them to ask can I stay. Today answer will be NO as the 3 managers working are the three with major problems. One who is just the know it all on everything and the two who make dumb and dumber look smart.

                          • Yeah a tipper coming off a dirty site in pristine condition just dont look convincing to me, hence the weathering of tyres and dusting up brings the whole thing to life

                              • Steve we got a new store manager in January. He is holding the manager accountable which is a good thing. We are being told be patient plans are in place. Right now it's getting worse instead of better. I know the 4 full timers we have run out of patience.
