quiet one, photo shoot model trucks and diggers, sat/sunday nothing planned at this stage.
Might get a visitor or two? Design a diorama for trucks most likely will happen
play it by ear i think, see what happens i guess

not lost interest, just having a break from airports, and trying out a few dioramas so can show my trucks n stuff in a realistic pose. cost is minimal and creativity is much greater i think, can depict a few different scenarios using off cuts and general waste, and come up with something quite believable at glue/paint cost only.
just got to find all the bits n pieces needed to make it happen now.
thats the fun part, locating and using rubbish to help make a scene come alive!!

cant guarantee a masterpiece, just a reasonable backgroud that hopefully will look realistic. next dioramas will be much bigger, metre square, bigger if possible
reason being is photography is much easier on a big display, more angles, can zoom in/out as needed, so bigger is best

was the major prob i had, getting angles right without seeing other background stuff in the way. will take a new approach to the way i get photos done next time around. photo shop would be handy to have and know how to use it would be great

Yeah, i agree! Thats why i would love a larger airport taxiway set up. Photos are alot easier to take.
John, if you send me your email addy via PM, i'll try and send you the file for the 'Holding Point' mat that i use. You will have to get it printed out on a Mapping Printer though, it's approx 1m square.
Hey Martin, that would be great. I will send you a PM now.

Good morning it is early Good Friday. Have an afternoon planned at the Airport. Meeting up with Scott and Jeff at the airport. Should be a nice sunny but cool day. will post photos of anything interesting today. Alitalia should be an A-330-200. Hopefully will be able to catch it for you John.
